VeVe Digital Collectibles Partners with YG Entertainment to Launch K-pop Based Digital Products

VeVe Digital Collectibles (VeVe), following partnerships with Marvel, Star Wars, and Coca-Cola has forged a strategic partnership with YG Entertainment to develop digital products. BLACKPINK collectibles will launch under VeVe's music category, VeVeVibes, on May 13th. The collaboration marks YG’s entry into the digital collectibles market in earnest.

VeVe platform offers a marketplace where users can experience and showcase digital collectibles of various characters and icons in an augmented reality (AR) environment. It facilitates collection, purchase, sale, and trade of digital assets while ensuring verified digital ownership through blockchain technology, delivering an immersive collecting experience.

Unlike open-market NFT platforms, VeVe claim to safeguard the quality and scarcity of digital collectibles by establishing an ecosystem grounded in licensed IP agreements with companies. Additionally, it is committed to building a 100% carbon-neutral digital collectibles ecosystem through Immutable.

Justin Yang, CEO of Veve Korea, officially unveiled the partnership agreement with YG Entertainment and confirmed the launch of related products in the first half of this year.

YG Entertainment leverages its in-house production system and its foray into digital collectibles expands its business horizons and fosters new connections between its artists and fans.
