CNN Indonesia Interview with TREASURE 2024 July 21

What I wish for fans is... don't put too much pressure on yourself. As you are now, just stay by our side. That's enough. Then there will be no regrets. I want to say that I just wish for that one thing. Let's just continue to be together like now. - HYUNSUK

JAEHYUK: The last time we did the concert in Indonesia, we were very touched by receiving so many cheers. We're very grateful to be able to come back to Jakarta again and meet our Indonesian fans. We'll work hard and be ready.

HYUNSUK: I think we come back to Indonesia every year with so much gratitude. Last time we performed in Indonesia, even as trainees, though it was for content. Rather than taking it for granted, because there are Indonesian fans, I am so thankful every time, not knowing when we will see you again. With a grateful heart, we're back again. We will just tear the stage this week!!

YOSHI: The last time I came to Indonesia, I had nothing but good memories. It is the last city in our Asia tour this time. Fitting for a final show, we will finish it in a fun way. Fighting!

DOYOUNG: Before we meet, I exercise to warm up my body so that I can be more energetic when we meet our fans. I tend to take care of my health and condition. Also, with the members, I am always grateful that we can meet our fans.

JIHOON: When we meet fans, since we come from Korea, I pack my bags and look at the schedule for Indonesia. As I prepare the necessities, I also think about the performance. I make plans and always feel excited.

First, like the name of the tour, Reboot, TREASURE is showing a different side compared to the Hello Tour. That's the very first message. As time passes, TREASURE members have grown up, and our charms are more mature. We used to be a bit sportier, young, and refreshing, a bit of a rookie. Now we have a strong image that goes beyond a youthful image. We want to show that a lot. There are a lot of dance breaks on stage too. A lot of attention is given to stage lighting, color, and such.

HYUNSUK: To add on to what Jihoon said, another message we have is... err... What was it? If you watch the drama VCR played at our concert, I think the message we want to give can be understood more intuitively. What we want to show is conveyed more clearly through the VCR.

JIHOON: In fact, while we were preparing for this concert stage, a lot of people helped us. Starting from the performance director, a lot of staff helped us. As it's the stage of TREASURE, as members, we thought about how to portray and express more. Each stage has a different concept for the mindset and thoughts. We practiced and prepared to show the emotions of the choreography and vocal style.

HARUTO: Fans welcome us with such happy expressions, so we try very hard to do something in return.

JUNHWAN: Now we are here in Indonesia after a year. It's been another year, so I'm feeling that energy once again. For the first time in a long time, we want to feel the energy of Indonesian fans.

Q: How do you maintain your energy as an Introvert?

JUNKYU: Though I cannot say that "I" is this way and "E" is that way, we do our own gaming or gather together to play or go for a walk. We do that, but anyway, when we perform, I think the fans' cheers and warm support heal me.

YOSHI: I’m similar to Junkyu too. My MBTI is "I". Still, when I play music, I become "E" and try to have a lot of fun at that moment. I communicate a lot with fans so we can enjoy together.

HYUNSUK: Actually... What I wish for fans is... uh... I think... Rather than wishing for the fans, as much as we are able to, by pouring our energy, our goal is to make what the fans want so that fans can hope for more. Uh... If I think about something that fits the question about hope: don't put too much pressure on yourself. As you are now, just stay by our side. That's enough. Then there will be no regrets. I want to say that I just wish for that one thing. Let's just continue to be together like now.

JEONGWOO: We have a concert like this. Just being able to meet my fans, I'm so grateful. In the future, we will hold concerts and meetings like this. If you could give us support and strength, I think we can visit you more. At that concert or meeting venue, I hope you enjoy it.
